The Contest is open only to AIR MILES^® Collectors who are residents of Canada who are at least 16 years of age as of August 17, 2016. See Rule 2 below.

1. There are two parts to this Contest as follows: Part one (1) of the Contest is the AIR MILES Prize Pool for a chance to win one (1) of one-hundred and twenty-nine (129) Prizes (defined below) and part two (2) of the Contest includes one weekly AIR MILES Multiplier instant play ("Instant Play") for two (2) entries into the AIR MILES Prize Pool Contest and a chance to win up to a 10x AIR MILES Multiplier Offer that you can use with an AIR MILES Prize Pool Contest Bonus Offer (see below) during the Contest Period. These Rules apply to both parts of the Contest, as applicable.

3. Eligibility: This Contest is open only to Canadian resident AIR MILES Collectors who are at least 16 years of age as of August 17, 2016 except employees, representatives and agents of the Contest Sponsor, its affiliates and their respective advertising and marketing agencies, contest administrators, judges, and persons domiciled with any of the above. The Collector is the individual in whose name the Collector Number has been established or, in the case of a Business Collector, the principal associated with the Business Collector Number, as determined by the Contest Sponsor. Canadian residence will be determined by the mailing address associated with the Collector Number. If you are not already an AIR MILES^® Collector you may become one by enrolling online at www.airmiles.ca.
   
   Online access is required in order to participate in this Contest. Many public libraries, retail businesses and others offer free access to computers.
   
   
4. Agreement to Rules: By participating in the Contest, you fully and unconditionally agree to and accept the Official Contest Rules and the decisions of Contest Sponsor and its Contest administrators and judges, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.
   
   
5. Contest Period: The Contest begins at 12:00:01 a.m. on August 17, 2016 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. on September 14, 2016 (the "Contest Period"). All times refer to Eastern Time ("ET") throughout the Contest.
   
   
6. How to Enter AIR MILES Prize Pool. There are two (2) ways to enter:

No Purchase Necessary (mail-in entry): To enter the Contest without a purchase, during the Contest Period you can hand-print your name as printed on your Collector Card, your Collector Number, complete mailing address, email address (if you have one) and telephone number on a plain piece of paper and mail the entry in a postage-paid/stamped envelope to the following address: "AIR MILES Prize Pool Contest", Dept. 3461, BOX 9500 Lakeshore West PO, Oakville, ON, L6K 0G4. Each mailed entry must be in a separate postage-paid envelope.    The approximate retail value of AIR MILES reward miles depends on the chosen method of redemption, available reward options at the time of redemption, and the set preference between AIR MILES Cash and AIR MILES Dream Account balances. If redeemed with AIR MILES Cash, 95 reward miles can be redeemed in-store for $10 towards purchases at participating AIR MILES Sponsors or 95 reward miles can be redeemed online for eVouchers for $10 worth of value at participating Reward Partners. If redeemed for flights (1,200 reward mile minimum required for flight redemption), value depends on destination chosen, date of travel and use of multiple carriers or suppliers. For example, one return economy flight from Toronto, Ontario to Winnipeg, Manitoba is 2,000 AIR MILES reward miles and has an approximate value of $525.00 (Canadian) excluding taxes. Winner must pay applicable taxes, related transportation fees, governmental levies, excess baggage and other non-ticket costs. The value of AIR MILES reward miles redeemed for non-flight reward options depends on reward options in effect at the time of redemption. AIR MILES reward miles are subject to the terms and conditions of the AIR MILES Reward Program as amended from time to time.    If any potential winner is under the age of majority in his/her province or territory of residence, a parent or legal guardian of the potential winner will be required to sign or submit the Prize Acknowledgement and Release Form (where it is required) on behalf of their minor child and any Prize will be deposited into the Collector Account of the minor. If the parent or legal guardian of the potential Prize winner does not sign or submit the Prize Acknowledgement and Release Form (where required), the potential Prize winner will not be awarded the Prize.
   
   Prizes are not transferable or convertible to cash and must be accepted as awarded. No additions or substitutions allowed. No compensation will be provided for failure by a confirmed winner to redeem any portion of any Prize within any expiry periods applicable thereto nor if a confirmed winner fails to accept any Prize, as awarded. 8. Prize Selection and Odds for the AIR MILES Prize Pool Prizes:
   
   The odds of winning a Prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
   
   A random drawing for the Prizes will be held at 10:00 a.m. on October 19, 2016 in Oakville, Ontario from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period, by a judging organization whose decisions will be final and binding. In order to be declared a winner of a Prize, the selected entrant must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered at a pre-arranged time by telephone and otherwise comply with the Contest Rules. The Contest Sponsor or its representatives will make reasonable attempts to contact the selected entrant at the email and/or telephone number(s) recorded in respect of his/her Collector Number, failing which, the Prize will be forfeited and an alternate entrant may be randomly selected. Selected entrant must sign and return to the Contest Sponsor within five (5) days of receipt a Prize Acknowledgement and Release Form, which includes a standard declaration of compliance with the Rules and release form in order to be awarded the Prize. Failure to sign and return the Prize Acknowledgement and Release Form within five (5) days of receipt will result in forfeiture of the Prize and may result in selection of another entrant. If any potential winner is under the age of majority in his/her province or territory of residence, a parent or legal guardian of the potential winner will be required to sign or submit the Prize Acknowledgement and Release Form (where it is required) on behalf of their minor child. If a parent or legal guardian of a potential Prize winner does not sign or submit the Prize Acknowledgement and Release Form (where required), the potential Prize winner will not be awarded the Prize.
   
   If a selected entrant cannot be contacted or has not responded within five (5) hours of the time when the contact was first attempted or does not otherwise comply with the Rules, the selected entrant will forfeit the Prize and another entrant may be selected.
   
   
9. AIR MILES Multiplier instant play (the "Instant Play"):
   
   Play the Instant Play once each week during the Contest Period for two (2) entries into the AIR MILES Prize Pool Contest and a chance to win up to a 10x AIR MILES Multiplier Offer ("Instant Prize"). A week begins on each Wednesday at 12:00:01 a.m. and ends on Tuesday at 11:59:59 p.m. during the Contest Period ("Week").
   
   No Purchase Necessary. How to Enter and Play the Instant Play portion of the Contest:
   
   To enter and play the Instant Play, visit www.airmiles.ca/prizepool (the "Site") during the Contest Period. On each visit to the Site, click the presented virtual watermelon scratch card and follow the online instructions to enter your Collector Number.
   
   Once you have successfully completed the above steps to submit your valid Collector Number, you will automatically receive two (2) automatic entries into the AIR MILES Prize Pool Contest draw and one (1) Instant Play.
   
   Instant Play: Click the presented watermelon virtual scratch card ("Scratch Card") to reveal a potential AIR MILES Instant Prize. If an AIR MILES Instant Prize is revealed on the Scratch Card, in order to claim and win the prize revealed, you must correctly answer an on-screen mathematical skill-testing question and click the "Submit" button. In order to be a confirmed winner and claim the AIR MILES Instant Prize, you must complete the steps stated above and otherwise comply with the Official Contest Rules, failing which, you will be disqualified and will not receive any prize.
   
   
10. Instant Play Limit on Entries:
    
    There is a limit of two (2) entries per Collector Account per Week into the AIR MILES Prize Pool draw, and one (1) Scratch Card play per Week per AIR MILES Collector Number during the Contest Period to a maximum of four (4) Scratch Card plays, for playing the Instant Play.
    
    Any attempt to enter the Instant Win portion of the Contest more than the stated limit will result in disqualification of all entries. All entries must be received during the Contest Period. Use of any automated system to submit entries is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
    
    You are not entitled to win any prize, even if the site should so indicate, unless and until your eligibility has been confirmed and you have claimed a prize by you successfully completing the steps as outlined above, including correctly answering the skill-testing question. Any entries that occur after the system has failed for any reason is deemed a defective entry and is void and will not be honored.
    
    
11. Instant Play Prizes: The following Instant Play prizes are available to be won:

    At the outset of the Contest Period (starting at 12:01 a.m. and ending at 11:59 p.m. every day from August 17, 2016 to September 14, 2016, there will be a total of 26,400 random, computer-generated pre-determined selection times created, with each time corresponding to one of the prizes listed in the table below (the "AIR MILES Instant Prizes"). However, the 10x AIR MILES Bonus Multiplier Offer Instant Prizes will be allocated such that there is at least one (1) 10x AIR MILES Bonus Multiplier Offer Instant Prize for each day of the Contest Period.
    
    If the entrant is the first player to play in the Contest at or after one (1) of the randomly pre-determined selection times, he/she will be eligible to win the AIR MILES Instant Prize that corresponds to that selection time, provided the entrant complies with all other terms and conditions of these Official Contest Rules. If a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, the potential prize for that entrant will be forfeited.

    The chances of winning an AIR MILES Instant Prize depends on the time at which entrant plays in relation to the randomly pre-determined selection times and the time at which other entrants play. The number of AIR MILES Instant Prizes available to be won will be reduced as they are won during the Contest Period. Limit of one AIR MILES Instant Prize per Collector Number per Week.
    
    Reward Miles from each AIR MILES Bonus Multiplier Offer Instant Prize you claim as a result of a valid Instant Play Contest entry, correctly answering a skill testing question and for which a Bonus Offer is redeemed will be posted to the confirmed winner's Collector Account within seventy-five (75) days after the Contest Period provided you comply with all the terms and conditions of these Official Contest Rules.
    
    If for any reason, including error on the part of the Contest Sponsor, more AIR MILES Instant Prizes are claimed than are intended to be awarded as described in these Official Contest Rules, only the number of AIR MILES Instant Prizes contemplated by these Official Contest Rules will be awarded. Upon the discovery of such error, all AIR MILES Instant Prize fulfillment will cease. In no event will more than the number of AIR MILES Instant Prizes contemplated by these Official Contest Rules be awarded.
    
    If for any reason, at the end of the Contest, fewer AIR MILES Instant Prizes are claimed than are intended to be awarded as described in these Official Contest Rules, the unclaimed AIR MILES Instant Prizes will be forfeited and not awarded.
    
    AIR MILES Bonus Multiplier Offer: The AIR MILES Bonus Multiplier Offer consists of the right to earn a multiple of 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x or 10x of the number of bonus AIR MILES reward miles ("Multiplier") that you would ordinarily earn on "qualifying purchase" transactions using a Bonus Offer from AIR MILES Partners participating in the Contest. The Multiplier can only be used together with the Bonus Offers then available during the Week (as defined in rule 9 above) during the Contest Period that you win the Multiplier and each Multiplier is only valid during such Week in connection with such Bonus Offers.
    
    
12. General:
    
    The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to use any winner's name, city/province or territory of residence, likeness, photograph, voice and statements without further compensation, in connection with any advertising and publicity carried out by or on behalf of the Contest Sponsor in relation to the Contest or the AIR MILES Reward Program, in any media throughout the world in perpetuity.
    
    For Québec residents, any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest in Québec may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux (the "Régie") for a ruling. For Quebec residents, any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
    
    Subject to the jurisdiction in Québec of the Régie, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize with one of equal or greater value, to cancel, terminate or suspend the Contest and/or to amend the Contest without prior notice at any time and for any reason including without limitation, if viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, attempts to disrupt the Contest or other causes beyond the Contest Sponsor's control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper play or conduct of the Contest.
    
    The Contest Sponsor is not responsible for any technical, hardware, software or telephone failures of any kind, or lost or unavailable network connections or garbled or deleted computer network transmissions, or failed, incomplete, garbled, stolen, illegible, incomplete, misdirected, delayed or lost entries or inaccurate capture of entry information or purchase information, even if it limits the ability to participate in the Contest. Any entry that occurs after a system failure is deemed a defective entry and is void and will not be honored. The Contest Sponsor is not responsible for any injury or damage to persons or property arising from the Contest or any prize. All entries must be received during the Contest Period (or in the case of mail-in entries, post-marked as required out in Rule 6). All entries and prize claims are subject to verification by Contest Sponsor and will be void if not obtained by legitimate channels, or if not original, or if obtained other than in compliance with these Rules. Proof of sending any portion of an entry or purchase is not proof of receipt. All entries become the property of the Contest Sponsor and will not be returned.
    
    The Contest Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Contest Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
    
    The Contest Sponsor uses the AIR MILES Collector Number to validate and update the entrants' Collector Account and to track entries into this Contest. By entering this Contest, each entrant expressly consents to the Contest Sponsor, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted for the purpose of administering the Contest and in accordance with Contest Sponsor's privacy policy (available at: https://www.airmiles.ca/arrow/PrivacyPolicy). This section does not limit any other consent(s) that an individual may provide the Contest Sponsor or others in relation to the collection, use and/or disclosure of their personal information.
    
    The Contest is subject to all applicable laws.
    
    The names of the winners may be obtained by sending a request with a self-addressed postage stamped envelope to "AIR MILES Prize Pool Contest" Attention: AIR MILES Promotions, 438 University Avenue, Suite 600, Toronto, Ontario, M5G 2L1 until February 16, 2017.
